How do I use the Sales Rep Wise Sales Report

What is a sales rep?

Sales representatives (Sales Rep) sell retail products, goods and services to customers. Sales representatives work with customers to find what they want, create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process. Sales representatives will work to find new sales leads, through business directories, client referrals, etc. Sometimes, sales representatives will focus on inside sales, which typically involves "cold calling" for new clients while in an office setting, or outside sales, which involves visiting clients in the field with new or existing clients. Often, their sales representatives will have a combination inside/outside sales job.


What is a sales rep report?

Sales rep reports are a record of sales activity over a particular period of time. These reports detail what reps have been up to, reveal whether the team is on track to meet its quota, and alert management to any potential issues.

These reports are often generated either by individual sales reps or sales managers. Sales reports include data on sales volume, amounts paid, pending amounts, revenue, and customer details.

Prerequisites

In order to view data/information in this report, Sales reps would need to be created and supervisors would need to be set up for each sales rep. Refer to document on creating a sales rep

Where does one find the sales rep wise sales report?

In the Main menu, click on performance analysis
Navigate to Sales rep wise sales report

How to Generate data/information in this report

Once you have clicked on sales rep wise sales report you will be directed to this screen shown below

  1.  You can search for a specific sales rep or leave it on *. The “ * “ means all sales reps data will be displayed.
  2. Select your desired organisation/Store. The “*” means all organisations/stores will be displayed.
  3. You can search for all invoices or choose to select pending invoices.
  4. By clicking on the show entire details checkbox, brings up the customers extra details such as an address, phone numbers etc…By leaving it unchecked, brings up the customers name only.
  5. Click on search to generate the report.

This report will show you all sales per sales rep for the period of time selected grouped per sales rep.
By Clicking the customer name highlighted blue, allows you to further view the actual sales, invoice, orders as well as items created against the specific customer. The sales rep wise sales report can be exported to CSV as well as pdf.
